Girardi says there still are no favorites in the five-pitcher race for two open spots in the Yankees' starting rotation.
The contenders are all righties: Bryan Mitchell, Luis Cessa, Chad Green, Luis Severino (pictured above) and Adam Warren.
"The first couple turns they all went good, the third turn they all struggled a little bit and now they seem to be getting back on track," Yankees manager Joe Girardi said. "I would say (no one is ahead). I think we’re going to have some long meetings about this ... really long meetings."
Girardi also maintains that he didn't go into spring training having two preferred pitchers win the open spots.
