Yankees stars hit runway to bring smiles, style to kids with cancer

The Yankees were a hit on the runway Tuesday, when several members of the team and front office participated in a fashion show at Kleinfeld Bridal in Chelsea for Runway Heroes, a New York City-based nonprofit that provides confidence-boosting experiences for children with cancer.

Aroldis Chapman, Didi Gregorius, Masahiro Tanaka, Kendrys Morales, Domingo Germán, Luis Severino and GM Brian Cashman all participated as companions to the children as they strutted, or in Cashman’s case — boogied — down the catwforalk.

“It was just improv,” Cashman tells The Post about his spontaneous runway dance, which garnered cheers from the families in the crowd.
