Estevan Florial, one of the Yankees’ top offensive prospects, returned to action Monday night for Single-A Tampa after being sidelined with a non-displaced right wrist fracture suffered during spring training.
The 21-year-old went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs in Tampa’s 8-4 loss to the St. Lucie Mets.
Florial also missed much of last season after undergoing surgery on his right hamate bone in May. That injury limited him to 75 games with Tampa.
This injury came when he crashed into the center-field wall during a March spring training game in Tampa.
