Minnesota Twins 5 – New York Yankees 2
The Minnesota Twins brought some familiar faces to visit the Yankees today.
Through the first two innings, Nathan Eovaldi allowed one base hit but managed to face the minimum. In the third inning, outfielder Darin Mastroianni got on base with two outs on an infield single. Making the most of the inning, outfielder Danny Santana hit a run-scoring double to put the Twins ahead by one.
Former Yankee Phil Hughes faced the Yankees today and handled the Yankees’ bats through the first three innings.
