Yankees signing Logan Morrison, who called Yankees fans ‘stupid’

If Logan Morrison makes it to The Bronx he should not expect a warm greeting.

The Yankees and Morrison agreed on a minor-league deal on Friday, the Post’s Joel Sherman confirmed. The signing of the slugging first baseman/DH comes days after the team announced that Greg Bird suffered a torn plantar fascia and will miss at least a month.

Morrison, who will head to extended spring training before going to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes Barre, has a bit of a history with Yankees fans. Morrison bashed MLB back in 2017 when it chose Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez over him for the Home Run Derby, despite the fact Morrison had a 24-13 homer advantage at the time.
