The New York Yankees have signed another relief pitcher, Kyle Barraclough. At this point, it shouldn’t be a surprise that general manager Brian Cashman is taking another risk with a pitcher that didn’t pitch last year. The low-risk, high reward signing is another attempt to bolster the depth in the bullpen. The minor league signing comes just days after they signed one of the best relievers last year, Darren O’Day.
Unlike some of the other signings, this is not a case of a pitcher coming back from injuries but a pitcher that has potential but has bombed out the last two seasons.
