The team signed Adam Lind to a minor-league deal, it announced Friday morning, before facing the Braves at George M. Steinbrenner Field.

Lind, 34, hit .303 with 14 homers and 59 RBI in 116 games with the Nationals last season. The lefty made 30 starts at first base, 25 in left field and six as the designated hitter. He also hit a league-high four pinch-hit home runs in 48 plate appearances as a pinch hitter.
