TAMPA -- The Yankees cut Clint Frazier -- and not his hair.
Frazier was sent to minor-league camp with a handful of other prospects before Friday's game against the Phillies at George M. Steinbrenner Field.
Joining the 22-year-old outfield prospect back at the team's development complex across the street will be first baseman Ji-Man Choi, outfielders Dustin Fowler and Billy McKinney and lefty reliever Jason Gurka.
Righty Luis Cessa was also optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, slimming the five-man starting rotation competition to four.
