BOSTON — The final nine innings of the Yankees’ season were among the worst of their 162-game schedule.
Aaron Judge, Luis Cessa and Brett Gardner committed fielding errors in a 10-2 loss Sunday in front of 36,201 at Fenway Park, as the Yankees finished the regular season 100-62.
The three errors were two shy of the season high, which is the five they made against the Astros on May 29 in a 6-5 Yankees win in 10 innings.
Reserve catcher Kyle Higashioka was charged with a passed ball on a strikeout of Blake Swihart in the sixth inning.
