Yankees' Sanchez hits mammoth homer

TAMPA, Fla. -- The nightmare is only beginning for opposing pitchers.

As the Yankees unveiled their powerful new lineup for the first time in Grapefruit League action, Gary Sanchez delivered the first big blow on Wednesday, crushing a Daniel Norris offering over the 40-foot scoreboard at George M. Steinbrenner Field.

Taking the mound for the Tigers, Norris navigated the first batters of the contest carefully. Brett Gardner flew out, Aaron Judge waved at an 84 mph changeup to strike out in his first at-bat of the spring, and Giancarlo Stanton picked up his first Yankees hit with a soft flare to right field.
