TAMPA -- Get him a helmet.
Seattle Seahawks quarterback and Yankees second baseman Russell Wilson had a grounder kick off the heel of his glove and whack him in the face during workouts on a backfield at George M. Steinbrenner Field on Tuesday morning.
After it happened, Wilson just smiled. Coaches and players shouted to him, asking if he was OK.
"I've been hit harder," he said.
Wilson joined Yankees camp yesterday and will stay the rest of the week. He won't play in any games but will continue to work out with the team.
