The tarp was on the field for hours before the Yankees and Royals game at Yankee Stadium on Friday.
And the forecasts aren't looking kind to the Bronx.
There's a flood advisory until 9 p.m. and a severe thunderstorm watch until 10 p.m. for the area, according to the National Weather Service.
