Prior to Wednesday night’s game against the Indians, the Yankees have made some roster moves. Garrett Jones was designated for assignment and Branden Pinder was optioned to Scranton/Wilkes Barre; Chris Capuano and Nick Goody have been recalled from Triple-A.
Following last night’s marathon, the Yankees needed fresh arms in the bullpen, especially with an inconsistent CC Sabathia on the mound. Capuano was scheduled to start tonight for the Railriders, but instead will be the long-man out of the pen.
