Didi Gregorius hit his team-high eighth home run on Tuesday, but that didn’t stop a sign promoting his bat giveaway day from misspelling his name.
During Tuesday’s game against the Twins, a rotating sign behind home plate showed “Didi Gregious Bat Day” for May 12.
Hopefully the bats come with the correct spelling.
Gregorius has been the Yankees’ most consistent hitter this season and he already has set career-highs for homers and RBIs in a month.
