HOUSTON -- The Yankees and Red Sox playing games in London has been in the works for at least three years.
It's going to happen in 2019.
The long-time rivals playing two regular-season games next year at Olympic Stadium will become official next week, the Associated Press reported on Thursday.
London Mayor Sadiq Khan and MLB commissioner Rob Manfred jointly will announce the series next Tuesday in a news conference in London.
The games will be played on Saturday, June 29 and Sunday, June 30.
The Red Sox will be the home team for both games, which will be the first ever held in Europe.
