PHOENIX (CBSNewYork/AP) — The New York Yankees have recalled infielder Rob Refsnyder from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and optioned Chad Green after the right-hander struggled in his major league debut.
New York also recalled right-hander Luis Cessa and LHP James Pazos from Scranton/Wilkes Barre, optioned right-hander Conor Mullee to the farm team and designated left-hander Phil Coke for assignment.
The moves were made before Tuesday’s game against Arizona.
Green struggled after being called up for a spot start, allowing six runs — four earned — and eight hits in four innings of 12-2 loss to Arizona.
