Clint Frazier is back up with the Yankees. New York recalled Frazier from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre before Saturday's game against the Blue Jays at Rogers Centre. To make room for Frazier, the Yankees designated right-hander David Hale for assignment.
In eight games for the Yanks so far this season, Frazier is hitting .350 (7-for-20). The 23-year-old outfielder was hitting .312 with 10 home runs in 47 games at Triple-A.
Frazier gives the Yankees an extra right-handed bat, although he was not in Saturday's starting lineup against Blue Jays left-hander J.
