Yankees reach $100M ticket resale deal with StubHub

The feud between the Yankees and StubHub is over — now that the team has agreed to a landmark deal that will make the fan-to-fan ticket exchange company the organization’s official reseller.

Both parties are expected to announce the final terms of the agreement on Monday morning, but according to ESPN, the Bronx Bombers could make more than $100 million over the term of the contract.

The switch will end an annoying anti-fraud ticket policy, instituted before the start of the 2016 season, that banned print-at-home and PDF tickets. The policy prevented fans from buying tickets on StubHub or other secondary ticket markets at the last minute, as they had done in the past.
