Yankees, Rays lineups Monday | Why Jonathan Holder is getting 1st start; Gary Sanchez 8th

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- The New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays begin a four-game series on Monday night at Tropicana Field.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m.

Preparing for next weeks' Wild Card Game, the Yankees are shuffling their starting rotation this week and will start reliever Jonathan Holder as their opener on Monday night.

By starting Holder, the Yankees are pushing back Luis Severino from Monday to Tuesday, which would line him up to pitch again in Sunday's regular-season finale and then Game 1 of a possible American League Division Series against the Boston Red Sox on regular rest or Game 2 on an extra day.
