The New York Yankees put second baseman Gleyber Torres on the 10-day disabled list Wednesday with a hip strain.
Torres left the Yankees' 6-2 win over the Atlanta Braves in the fifth inning and had an MRI that revealed the strain.
Torres has had a hip issue through his playing days that flared up Monday night. He was out of the starting lineup Tuesday, but was back Wednesday.
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said he didn't think it was serious,
"It's more we're being cautious with it than anything else," Boone said.
