Rehab assignments were the name of the game this past week across the minor league system. Corey Kluber, Gary Sanchez, Clint Frazier, Clarke Schmidt, and Chris Gittens all participated in rehab assignments during the week. In addition, Domingo Germán threw a bullpen in Somerset and may join the team shortly for game action. The minor league stars of the summer such as Anthony Volpe and Everson Pereira continued their strong play, and they are quickly being joined by a pair of pitchers in Jhony Brito and Randy Vasquez who are thriving this season and putting themselves on the radar of many around baseball.
