TAMPA -- Yankees minor-league consultant Marc Bombard could talk for hours telling stories about his four-plus decades in professional baseball.
Bombard, who is 67 and doesn't look his age, coached in the majors with the Reds and Phillies, and he's an International League Hall of Famer by virtue of his long and successful run as a Triple-A manager. And before he blew out his pitching arm at a young age, the short and pudgy ole' left-hander was a good enough Cincinnati prospect to pitch his way into the Florida State League Hall of Fame .
