No wonder Derek Jeter didn’t want to come back to the Bronx for this one.

The Yankee great missed the Yankees 12-1 over the Marlins on Monday night at the Stadium, as the Yankees took advantage of a Miami team deep into a teardown under its new CEO, Jeter.

The victory was the Yankees’ third in four games and came in their first game since Friday in Detroit.

Since then, they were postponed because of inclement weather on both Saturday and Sunday against the Tigers.
