The big news yesterday was obviously Aaron Judge’s fractured wrist. However, he wasn’t the only Yankee to suffer an injury. Hours earlier, Domingo German exited his first Triple-A start of the year in the second inning. The right-hander had Tommy John surgery in 2015, and was seen pointing to his right elbow near the incision.
German later clarified that he was experiencing bicep tightness. He reportedly felt off all game, likely because he wasn’t originally scheduled to start yesterday and didn’t go through his usual warmup routine.
After being re-evaluated today, German was diagnosed with an ulnar nerve injury.
