Recent Mets success hasn't translated into a takeover of Garden State baseball fans.

In a poll conducted by Quinnipiac University surveying baseball fandom in New Jersey, both the Yankees (39 percent) and Phillies (21 percent) came in ahead of the Mets (20 percent).

According to the results, 73 percent of baseball fans in the South Jersey suburbs identify as Phillies fans.
