The Yankees are shaking up their coaching staff.
In the wake of their ALCS loss to the Astros, the team is parting ways with Larry Rothschild, who had been the team’s pitching coach since 2011, according to The Post’s Joel Sherman. ESPN’s Buster Olney first reported the possibility that the Yankees could move on from the 65-year-old Rothschild.
Amid many injuries, the Yankees produced a 4.31 ERA during the regular season, 14th in the majors. They had a 2.87 ERA in the playoffs, but it wasn’t enough for the Yanks to get over the hump and back into the World Series.
