Jonathan Loaisiga‘s first go-around in Yankees pinstripes has unfortunately come to an end.
According to Bryan Hoch of MLB.com, the Yankees optioned Loaisiga to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre following the team’s 5-3 loss against the Atlanta Braves. The Yankees subsequently activated A.J. Cole from the disabled list.

It is heavily speculated Cole will be the corresponding move, especially since the Yankees taxed their bullpen during last night’s extra inning affair.
