The Yankees filled out their 40-man roster on Tuesday, acquiring lefty pitcher Tyler Olson and infielder Ronald Terreyes from the Dodgers in return for minor-league infielder Rob Segedin and a player to be named later. The Dodgers had designated both players for assignment within the past week.
Olson, 26, made his major league debut for Seattle in 2015, pitching in 11 games and posting a 5.40 ERA. He pitched in 25 games (six starts) for Triple-A Tacoma, compiling a 4.47 ERA and striking out 53 and walking 17 in 53¹/u2083 innings.
Terreyes, 23, made his major league debut for the Dodgers in 2015, playing in eight games.
