The New York Yankees and the NFL set inflated minimum prices for tickets fans want to dump on the resale market, which u200bis unfair to buyers and also sellers, who may not be able to unload unwanted ducats because the prices are too high, the state attorney general said Thursday.
“Ticketing is a fixed game,” said AG Eric Schneiderman, whose office is investigating u200bpro football’s dealings with Ticket Exchange, a re-seller connected to Ticketmaster, and concert promoters Live Nation.
The AG also called out the Bronx Bombers over the practice.
