The good news is the Yankees acquired Starlin Castro to fill in a big hole at second base. The bad news is they lost on of the most valuable pieces from the 2015 team in Adam Warren.
When Starlin Castro was acquired from the Chicago Cubs for Adam Warren and Brendan Ryan, the Cubs went out and singed Ben Zobrist as Castro’s replacement. Not to take anything away from the Yankees acquiring Castro, but the Cubs will thrive off Warren’s versatility, who could earn the nickname: the Zobrist of pitchers.
