WASHINGTON -- The Yankees and Nationals games for Wednesday were postponed due to rain.
The games have been moved to June 18.
The teams were due to finish Tuesday's game -- that was suspended after 5 1/2 innings with the score tied at 3-all -- at 5:05 p.m. Wednesday. Then they were scheduled to play at 7:05 p.m.
The teams have a mutual off day Thursday but scheduling conflicts -- and the threat of even more rain -- forced the teams not to schedule for that day.
The Yankees will head to Kansas City on Wednesday.
