MOOSIC, Pa. – Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira has already made his mark in the clubhouse of the Triple A Scranton Wilkes-Barre RailRiders.
According to RailRiders first baseman Nick Swisher, it's great to "have a buddy back" during Teixeira's three-game rehab stint with the Yankees affiliate.
Teixeira will start at first base for Scranton Wilkes-Barre after being on the DL list since June 4 with torn cartilage in his right knee. He'll play for six innings at first base while Swisher will play at DH.
