Yankees' Mark Teixeira headed for CT scan; Rob Refsnyder starting at 1st base

NEW YORK — Yankees' first baseman Mark Teixeira is out of the lineup on Sunday in the series finale against the Boston Red Sox. Rookie Rob Refsnyder is starting instead.

Teixeira fouled a ball off his left foot on Saturday and even though he stayed in the game and X-rays turned up negative, the team sent him for a CT scan Sunday evening to double check. If you remember last year, Teixeira broke his leg in August and it wasn't for about three weeks until he and the team figured it out—up until that point all the tests had been negative.
