The New York Yankees managed to put together an impressive rotation even after losing three-fifths of the 2020 unit. James Paxton, J.A. Happ, and Masahiro Tanaka are wearing other uniforms now, but the Bombers brought Corey Kluber, Jameson Taillon, and are getting Domingo German back. They also signed Jhoulys Chacin and Asher Wojciechowski for depth purposes.
However, the one that could really take the Yankees’ rotation to the next level is Luis Severino, once he completes his rehab from the Tommy John surgery he underwent last spring.
The usual timeframe for Tommy John surgery recovery is between 12 and 16 months, and he had the procedure in late February.
