It looks like Luke Voit is starting to get into the swing of things.
Voit, who is recovering from a sports hernia, blasted a long home run off Lehigh Valley’s Jerad Eickhoff to lead off in the first inning of his second rehab start Saturday for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
In his first rehab action on Friday, Voit played six innings at first base and was the leadoff hitter for the Yankees’ top minor league affiliate, going 0-for-3 with a walk and a run scored.
The Yankees slugging first baseman could be back when the big club returns home late next week to face the Oakland A’s.
