Yankees’ Losing Ways Continue As Athletics Win 5-2

NEW YORK -- Kendall Graveman pitched effectively into the seventh inning and the Oakland Athletics scored three times in the top of the fourth inning en route to a 5-2 victory over the New York Yankees Wednesday night.

Billy Burns doubled twice and had three hits while scoring the A's first run of the fourth. Chris Coghlan had an RBI double, Josh Reddick added a run-scoring single and Stephen Vogt lifted a sacrifice fly as Oakland won its fourth straight.

Khris Davis added a two-run single in the eighth for the Athletics.

Those runs were enough for Graveman (1-1), who allowed one run and third hits in 6 1/3 innings.
