TAMPA -- Before the second day of spring training workouts for Yankees pitchers and catchers, veteran left-hander CC Sabathia was asked Thursday morning if he's already noticed any subtle differences from last season.
The question was thrown out there because the Yankees have a new coaching staff that is led by rookie manager Aaron Boone, who is expected to be more player friendly than Joe Girardi was.
Sabathia responded with a smile, then said, "We have different lockers. That's about it so far."
The lockers in the home clubhouse at Steinbrenner Field are indeed new, and while Sabathia's is in the same spot, several players are in different areas.
