Just about every sports fan in America was enthralled with “The Last Dance” considering it aired on ESPN while people across the country were glued to their couches during various stay-at-home orders. The 10-part documentary series chronicled Michael Jordan and the 1997-98 Chicago Bulls on the final run of their second three-peat.
New York Yankees legend David Wells is a bit familiar with winning championships, having captured the 1998 World Series with the Bronx Bombers, which kicked off the franchise’s own three-peat quest that came to fruition in 2000.
Wells just finished watching “The Last Dance” and decided to give everyone a throwback with him and the GOAT to relive the glory days.
