Yankees killer makes pitch to join pinstripes: They have a ‘lure’

Dallas to New York?

Dallas Keuchel, the same left-hander who stymied the Yankees in the 2015 wild-card game and who has a career 2.22 ERA against the Bombers, made his pitch to suit up with the pinstripes and snip off his most recognizable feature.

“For the right opportunity, I would happily shave this beard off. For sure,” Keuchel said Friday in a Fox Business segment.

Keuchel, who has spent his first seven seasons in Houston with two All-Star Games to his name, is among the many free-agent targets the Yankees are weighing. They already brought back CC Sabathia to pair with Luis Severino and Masahiro Tanaka, but are seeking two more to fill out the rotation.
