When New York Yankees pitchers and catchers report to spring training in one week, newly-acquired right-hander Jameson Taillon should be good to go. The Yankees traded for Taillon last month in a deal with the Pittsburgh Pirates, even though he missed all of the 2020 MLB season while recovering from Tommy John surgery. Per ESPN’s Buster Olney, “Taillon, now 18 months removed from elbow reconstruction surgery, is said to be throwing with exceptional control and appears ready to go for the start of the Yankees’ camp.
