BALTIMORE — The Yankees’ well-stocked disabled list could be down two big names soon.
If all goes well this week, shortstop Didi Gregorius and catcher Gary Sanchez might be back in the lineup by the time the Yankees begin an Oakland-to-Seattle-to-Minnesota roadtrip a week from Monday.
“I’m optimistic of that, but we’ll have to see,” manager Aaron Boone said.
Here is the latest on Gregorius, Sanchez and right fielder Aaron Judge via manager Boone, who gave updates before Sunday night’s 5-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles.
Injury: Right groin strain.
