NEW YORK — Give Major League Baseball a little credit for making an early decision that there was no shot of the Yankees and Cleveland Indians getting in their scheduled 7:05 game Tuesday night at Yankee Stadium.
By 4 p.m., the game was officially rained out with a drizzle coming down in the Bronx and rain in the forecast until around 6 a.m. Wednesday,
The rainout forces the Yanks and Indians to finish their three-game series with a Wednesday doubleheader, and it will be a single-admission twinbill that starts at 1:05 p.m., rather than a day-night affair.
