Just a couple weeks after Patrick Corbin’s free agency tour, Manny Machado has started his. On Monday, the shortstop met with the White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field, and he plans to meet with the Phillies tomorrow. In between those visits, he stopped by the Bronx to visit Yankee Stadium today.
Not too many details have leaked at this point, but the meeting between Machado and the Yankees lasted about 90 minutes. It’s tough to say whether that’s a good or bad sign.
