After two days of close games and extra innings victories, the Yankees weren’t able to get the job done for a third time. It looked like they were headed for extra innings once again, then Chad Green happened. Oh well, can’t win ‘em all. We’ll have a full recap up shortly. Here are some highlights in the meantime:
Winner of the Game
Aaron Hicks had a nice game. First, he hit an RBI single to give the Yankees a 2-1 lead in the seventh. Trailing by one run, and down to their last strike in the ninth, Hicks homered to left to tie the game and keep the Bombers alive.
