Yankees Highlights: J.A. Happ remains a disaster

All good things must come to an end, and that includes the Yankees’ eight-game winning streak. Unfortunately it came to a close in a frustrating fashion, with two of the Bombers’ worst pitchers getting tagged for nine runs.

Winner of the Game

DJ LeMahieu made history, and he did it against a brand name. His three-run homer in the fifth inning broke the Yankees’ record for consecutive games with a home run. The franchise record now stands at 26, eclipsing the mark set by the 1941 Yankees.
