The Yankees just took a series from a team over .500 for the first time this year. Letting Michael Pineda shut the lineup down would have been vintage Yankees, but the offense showed up today! We’ll have a full recap up later, but here are some highlights in the meantime.

Domingo German was brilliant this afternoon. He limited the Twins to just four hits, three walks, and one earned run through 6.2 innings. For the first time all season, he threw over 100 pitches—108—and it was his longest outing of the year, too.
