Last night’s rain gave way to clear skies today. After dropping the first game of this series, the Yankees bounced back. Granted, the offense couldn’t get anything going for the first six innings. It took Ivan Nova being knocked out of the game before they finally woke up in the seventh, but a win’s a win! A full recap will follow shortly, but here are some highlights in the meantime.

CC Sabathia had a heck of a debut outing this afternoon. He tossed five scoreless innings, notched three strikeouts, didn’t issue a walk, and gave up just one hit.
