It's something that most of us knew was coming sooner or later as one of the most prominent Yankees made fewer and fewer appearances. It's never easy when we have to be reminded that our time here is fleeting, and seeing the greats who made baseball history what it is pass on is always a little difficult. That is why it is with an extremely heavy heart that I write that Yogi Berra has passed away at the age of 90.
Berra is one of the best to ever put on the Yankee uniform. His ten World Series rings are unmatched, and could very well remain unmatched forever.
