Yankees managing general partner and co-chairman, Hal Steinbrenner gave his official support to Aaron Boone after backlash from fans showing their discontent with how poorly Boone’s been managing recent games, took over social media.
General manager Brian Cashman took a gamble on a manager with no experience, similarly to the way the late George M. Steinbrenner took a chance on Cashman when Bob Watson resigned from the Yankees following the 1997 season.
