NEWARK — Yankees general manager Brian Cashman fit right in with 18,000 Devils fans showing up at Prudential Center on Tuesday night.
His sports jacket was traded for a Devils jersey for Marty Brodeur's retirement night.
Cashman is a big Brodeur fan who ranks his career up there with one of the greatest Yankees.
He compares hockey's winningest goalie with baseball's all-time save leader.
His high praise came in a taped message for Brodeur that played on the scoreboard late into the second period of the Devils' game against the Edmonton Oilers.
